The AngeLee Golf Classic
June 12th, 2010

Please join us for the Second Annual AngeLee Golf Classic at Monticello Country Club to benefit The Missing GRACE Foundation on June 12th, 2010.
This event is in memory of Angel Riggs and Lee Riggs. Angel is the beloved little baby girl of Brent and Nicole Riggs. She passed away in July of 2008. Her heart stopped beating at only eight weeks old. Shortly after losing Angel, we got pregnant with Lee, only to have him pass away as well. This brave little warrior was 13 1/2 weeks along when my wife gave birth to him on November 21, 2008.
After the losses of Angel and Lee, we found help and healing from The Missing GRACE Foundation.

5th Annual
~ALL Angels Remembrance Ceremony~
German Park - In the garden by the Angel fountain
in New Ulm, MN
Thursday, October 15th, 2009 at 5pm

~From the moment of conception, a couple becomes parents and their baby becomes
a human with an eternal spirit.~

In 1988, former President Ronald Reagan declared
October to be "Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month."
October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Remembrance Day
www.october15th.com

(*Loss of a baby during pregnancy or early infancy
affects a large number of people, with at least 20%
of all pregnancies ending in miscarriage, stillbirth,
or early infant death.)

We hope this will continue to be a yearly
Remembrance in our community for every parent who has endured a loss.

It will be held in the beautiful gardens at German Park, around the Angel fountain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During the service, mellow music will be played and all attending will have the opportunity to share about
their child or loved one if they choose to.
We will also be lighting candles in memory of our children who have died.
We ask that each parent brings an individual taper candle or significant candle to light for their child or children.
A brief reading will be done in memory of all the angels lost too soon. A poem or two will also be shared in their honor.
Following the service, a special Book of Life will be
available to all who have suffered the loss of an unborn child or infant, to enter their children's information into and individual acknowledgments of each child will be offered for those who so desire.
We would like to add all of the angels lost to this
precious Book each year during this special ceremony.
We are going to do the ceremony at 5 pm, in German Park's beautiful garden area by the fountain. We will close the ceremony with a release of balloons, an affective and memorably warm tribute to the significance of each of the children's lives.
loving parents, forever, to
~Aidan Lee Lemmer
11/25/01~11/25/01~
:::ALL are Aidan's initials, and while missing him terribly every year that passes without him, as his parents we feel the need to do something very special in his honor
-- and in honor of all the precious children who've left our world too soon.
May they be remembered with love, forever:::
Instead of planning Aidan's 7th birthday party this year, we put our hearts and soul into this event.
Please help us make it memorable.
Candlelight Memorial at the Angel of Hope Statue
Each year a candlelight memorial is held at all the Angel of Hope statues on December 6 at 7:00 p.m.
The Christmas Box Angel of Hope was first introduced to the world in the international best selling book and hit television movie "The Christmas Box," written by Richard Paul Evans. The Original Angel of Hope statue, inspired by the book, was dedicated on December 6, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since the placement of this first statue, it has become known as a place of hope and healing for anyone who has suffered the loss of a child. Each year individuals and agencies in support of grieving parents sponsor new statues to be placed throughout the world. For additional statue locations visit go to www.thechristmasboxhouse.org
Minnesota Location:
The Angel of Hope statue is located in the Maple Grove Arboretum, just north of County Road 30 at 9400 Fernbrook Lane. Additional parking is available at the Arbor View Early Childhood Center, 9401 Fernbrook Lane and at the Assembly of God Church, 14320 93rd Ave N.
Each year the second Sunday in December is recognized as
National Childrens Memorial Day
wherein people around the world observe with
appropriate ceremonies and activities in remembrance the many infants,
children, teenagers, and young adults who have died.
It is a nationally recognized day that hosts a special ceremony to remember and honor children who have died.
As candles are lit at 7 p.m. local time, hundreds of thousands of persons commemorate and honor children in a way that transcends all ethnic, cultural, religious, and political boundaries.
Believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe, the Worldwide Candle Lighting creates a virtual 24-hour wave of light as it moves from time zone to time zone. Hundreds of formal candle lighting events are held and thousands of informal candle lightings are conducted in homes as families gather in quiet remembrance of children who are no longer with them.
The United States Senate has, for several years, joined in the remembrance by unanimously passing resolutions declaring the second Sunday in December of each year National Childrens Memorial Day to coincide with The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting.
Here in the United States, publicity about the event is widespread, being featured in the past in Parade Magazine, Ann Landers column, Guideposts magazine, Annie's Mailbox, and literally hundreds of U.S. newspapers, dozens of television stations, and numerous Web sites. Information on the Worldwide Candle Lighting and planned memorial candle lighting services is posted on the TCF Web site at www.compassionatefriends.org each year.  There is a Remembrance Book on this site that you can write a message today for your loved one or in remembrance of someone who has been touched so deeply by the loss of their child.
The Worldwide Candle Lighting gives bereaved families everywhere the opportunity to remember their child . . . that their light may always shine!
A moment of remembrance of children who have lived, have died and who even in death are loved and remembered.
Please show your support by participating. Light a candle in honor of a loved one.
