Michael's Place recognizes children's grief is unique and that only by sharing will that grief become growth. Death crosses all religious, cultural and economic boundaries. The purpose of Michael's Place is to help all grieving children and their families embrace their loss by sharing their experiences with others. Michael's Place provides these children and their families support from peers, professionals and trained volunteers. Interaction provides the children with opportunities to accept their loss and continue their lives in a hopeful and confident manner.

This is an informal support group for parents who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death. It is moderated my a licensed counselor and also a hospital chaplain, but it is not faith based.
